What do you dream of my love? Do you dream of me, of us? Do you dream about our future, our family? Where are you my darling, my dearest, my love, my missing piece, my perfect fit? I know your out there, can you feel my heart longing, yearning for you? Cant wait to see you, as I lay my head down. Ill see you tonight, in these dreams I have of you.

And then there are those nights. The ones im at my lowest, my most vulnerable. Laying alone in this bed, it feels so empty. But I dont want to go back to that. That dismal world, lifeless, stagnant world. I know what is there, and I dont want to be apart of that. I need a new drink. I need to forget, I need to drink her down straight till I forget. I want to lose my self, and spend my days drunk off her. I want to smell her and crave just a sip. I want to break into cold sweats when im without her. I want to hold her tightly till the lights come on, after last call, after they close the doors. I want to be an alcoholic. I need a new drink.

Its twenty seventeen the world welcomed it with cheers. My only concern and hope is that im done with these tears. So heres to a better year, a better me with no fears. A new lifestyle, a new me, a new path I must travel, down this rugged road that is a New Year.

The good ones are gone got burned by the fire To relive such pain is no ones desire Trust has been broken and hearts have been shattered. Put out on the curb like our feelings hadnt mattered. Had our loyalty and devotion heartlessly cheated on. Now standing here in a daze wondering what fuck did I do wrong. All the love songs ever written, all the poems ever wrote. Could never even begin to teach a person how to cope. With the pain of depression to a heart thats been broke. So now I lay here wondering where to tie this rope.

I felt the death inside. My heart I couldnt hide. No shelter from the storm. No soul left to mourn. I hate you!
